Treatment Philosophy:
Rada works with each patient in partnership to create their unique
healing experience through acupuncture and lifestyle recommendations.
Biography:
Rada first experienced acupuncture as a patient, looking for
relief from her long standing "sciatic pain condition". She experienced
relief and healing that changed her life, and she subsequently decided
to make acupuncture her profession, and a life calling.
Rada has a diverse background in both Western and Chinese medicine. She
has many years of experience in the dental field before becoming an
acupuncturist. She continues to bridge both disciplines and still works
as a dental hygienist and acupuncturist. Rada graduated from TAI Sophia
Institute in Laurel, MD with a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture. She also
has a dental hygiene degree from the University of Maryland Dental
School.
Rada enthusiastically welcomes the general population to her practice,
where she treats people with a variety of common illnesses, including
but not limited to arthritis pain, migraines, back pain, and
infertility... However, Rada does not identify her patients with only
their illness or symptoms. She treats them holistically as unique,
beautiful individuals, helping them to create their wellness.
Area of Special Interest:
As her love and gratitude to the dental profession, Rada treats dental
professionals with occupational issues so that they can be well
themselves to help their own patients. Because of her training, she
treats patients who present with a variety of oral facial conditions,
such as TMJ disorder, dry mouth disorder, and post-surgical recovery
from oral facial cancer. She works in collaboration with renowned
Washington, DC dentists and surgeons such as Dr. Binderman, Dr. Kaplan,
Dr. Singer, Dr. Niemtzow, and Dr. David Greenberg and many other
dentists in the area to help their patients
recover and create wellness in their lives.
